Curbside Program
 

Residents will receive weekly automated recycling pick up service every regularly scheduled garbage/trash day. This is for the blue 95 gallon cart only. No other recycling is picked up except what is inside the blue cart. Residents may place the following recycling items in the blue 95 gallon recycling cart: unbroken glass bottles – any color, aluminum, tin and steel cans, Dry newspapers, magazines and catalogues, phone books, broken down cardboard, junk mail, office paper, plastic bottles and containers labeled #1- #7, (excluding #6) and empty aerosol cans. Please see the directions on the top of recycling cart for more information.

Hazardous Disposal Program
  Clean & Green Clean-Up Events are held twice a year in the Spring and Fall at the Public Works Service Center. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), Tires, Brush, Metals, Document Shredding, Electronic Waste and bulk item disposal is available. See Town's web site www.littleelm.org for dates.

 

Yard Trimmings Program
  Little Elm residents receive bulk and brush service twice a month. Residents having Monday and Tuesday trash service days will have their brush and bulk service on the 1st and 3rd Full Week (Mon. – Fri.) of the month. Residents having Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday trash service days will have their brush and bulk service on the 2nd and 4th Full Week (Mon. – Fri.) of the month. Brush and Bulk service will be from Thursday – Saturday on your service week. Please have items out by 7:00am on Thursday of your service week. Bulk refuse items are items that do not fit in your cart; however hazardous waste, construction material, and remodeling debris will not be collected.

 

Composting Information
  None available at this time.

 

Electronics Recycling
  Electronics or E-waste items are collected during the Clean & Green Bi-annual town wide clean-up events.

 

Recycling at School
  Each LEISD campus has a available for the public a paper and cardboard recycling dumpster.
