Curbside Program
 

The Haltom City Recycling program is no longer by subscription, but rather a citywide program. All Haltom City residents will be receiving once a week residential recycling bin service beginning Oct. 1, 2007. Delivery of bins will take place the week of Sept. 24th. Please be sure that your bin is placed within five feet of the street or curb and is clearly visible from the street. It must be in place by 7 a.m. on your collection day. Bin weight should not exceed 50 lbs.
Recycling may be picked up anytime from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. City ordinance states that containers must be placed at the curb not more than 12 hours prior to the scheduled recycling collection day.

Non-Acceptable Materials: aluminum foil, packing peanuts, pizza boxes, styrofoam, aerosol cans, paints, solvents or thinners, pool chemicals, plate glass,mirrors, plastic toys, furniture, household items, rubber hoses, waxed juice or milk cartons, ceramic cookware, propane/helium tanks, automobile parts, garden pesticides and fertilizers, hardback books, diapers and soiled paper goods
