City of Grapevine Recycling

DISCLAIMER: This website is maintained by the North Central Texas Council of Governments. Please verify all information with City of Grapevine Recycling first before driving to a facility listed on this page.

Curbside Program
 

All Grapevine Residential Households can participate in this program. Service is provided once a week. Recyclables can be mixed together. The following items are accepted:

  • Plastics (#'s 1,2,3,4,5&7)
  • Glass
  • Metal
  • Paper
  • Cardboard

We will not accept:

  • Plastic bags
  • Contaminated items
  • Plate glass
  • Ceramic
  • Mirrors
  • Aluminum foil
  • Wet paper
  • Wet cardboard

All items need to be placed in recycle bins issued by the service provider. Items must be placed for service by 7am on the serice day.

Accepted Materials
Glass containers, Aluminum cans, Tin cans, Steel cans, Telephone books / paperback books, Mixed paper, Paper grocery bags, Newspaper, magazines, catalogs, Corrugated cardboard, #1 Plastic, #2 Plastic, #3 Plastic, #4 Plastic, #5 Plastic, #7 Plastic (other), Milk cartons and juice boxes,

 

Multi-Family Program
 

All Grapevine Commercial Multifamily establishments have been presented the opportunity to participate in the Recycling Program. If your complex is not participating contact the facility's management office.

Recyclables can be mixed together. The following items are accepted:

  Grapevine is a member of the City of Fort Worth's Environmental Collection Center. Residents may call (817) 871-5257 or go to here to find out more information.

 

Yard Trimmings Program

Donate a Phone, and The Wireless Foundation has teamed up to help support the American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services. Every year, the American Red Cross provides critical emergency communications between military personnel and their family's back home. PROJECT CELL PHONE / 911
The City of Grapevine Senior Activities Center also accepts used cell phones (with battery charger) for senior citizens emergency use. For more information contact the Grapevine Senior Activities Center located at 421 Church Street, 817-410-8130.

The City of Grapevine Housing Authority will also accept used cell phones (with battery charger) for citizen's emergency use. For more information contact the Grapevine Housing Authority located at 131 Starr Place, 817-488-1048.
