Every resident having applied for city utility service on or after Friday, July 1, 2005 is required to participate in the city's recycling service program.
Weekly Service: Each Tuesday - for residents living north of Keller Parkway (FM 1709) and each Friday - for residents who live south of Keller Parkway (FM 1709)
Obtain recycle bins and lids at the City's Customer Service Department, located in Keller Town Hall at 1100 Bear Creek Parkway. Residents receive two (2) free recycle bins and may purchase additional bins for $10 each. Optional lids for recycle bins may be purchased for $6 each.
Place recycle bins at curbside by 7 a.m. on collection days to ensure pickup. However, containers cannot be out more than twelve (12) hours prior to pickup.
Customers should keep contents secured to prevent scattering. Each recycle bin must be loaded so that they weigh less than fifty (50) pounds. Residents may set out additional materials, which are bundled or bagged, when the volume is greater than the recycling bin size.
Disabled customers, who have provided certification from a physician, may place their bins near a front or garage door which is visible from the street. Collection workers cannot enter garages or behind enclosed fences.
