Texas AgriLife Extension Service is offering a 1 day training course open to anyone interested in learning about using rainwater in the home. This course goes beyond the rainwater harvesting basic courses and classes to give the participant a detailed understanding of how they can use rainwater for any indoor use. This includes both potable and non-potable uses. Participants will learn methods of filtering and disinfecting water to drinking water quality. Water testing and rules and regulations will be covered. The course will also cover methods of using non-potable water separate from a municipal supply, how to set up a system for graywater, and cross connection prevention. This training course includes a demonstration, where participants will see the actual assembly of potable water system components. Cost: $70.00 pre-registration, $95.00 onsite registration

Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Urban Solutions Center in Dallas, Texas. This class will be held in the Pavilion Building from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
